Geospatial analysis will identify EV uptake hotspots and determine the most appropriate charging solutions for properties across the county
Energeo Ltd are collaborating with Oxfordshire County Council on a project determining residential property suitability for a range of innovative Electric Vehicle(EV) charging solutions. The geospatially focused project will also see Energeo deliver intelligence on predicted hot spots for high EV uptake across the County, and develop and deploy a Software-as-a-Service based tool to support desk-based survey of sites proposed for EV chargepoint deployment.

The EV focused project will see Energeo assess over 150,000 properties across Oxfordshire’s largest urban conurbations for their suitability for five different types of EV charging solutions, including various innovative on-street technologies. The geospatially derived outputs will be delivered via a SaaS based platform to aid decision makers in Oxfordshire’s highways teams with understanding whether any proposed location is suitable for on-street EV charging, and which EV charging technology is most appropriate for any given site.
