RSCC was at the CIPR conference where “Digitalization of Industrial Russia” and import substitution were explored

RSCC participates in the conference “Digitalization of Industrial Russia” (CIPR) 2024. The event takes place on May 21-24 in Nizhny Novgorod. The company’s telecommunications services are presented in Pavilion 3 at Stand 3.19.

The annual conference “Digitalization of Industrial Russia” (CIPR) was held in Nizhny Novgorod at the Nizhniy Novgorod Fair.

More than 6500 people from 77 regions of Russia and 8 countries (PRC, India, South Africa, Belarus, Iran, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Brazil) took part in the conference. More than 700 speakers spoke at the sessions, more than 25 meetings between industry leaders and SMEs took place within the CIPR SME track, 16 companies won the CIPR DIGITAL award. The exhibition exposition was increased by one and a half times and consisted of three blocks instead of the traditional two, and the DECIPRALAND digital art exhibition featured 120 works from 40 artists. In addition to the official part, the conference kicked off the international championship “Battles of Robots,” which featured 33 Battles, as well as a fijtal basketball tournament “Games of the Future,” the CIPR Tech Week festival technology week.

The conference was attended by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, who noted the importance of ensuring technological sovereignty in the IT sector and the smooth operation of enterprises. Specialized Industrial Competence Centers help to solve this problem.

The conference is also attended by Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Maksut Shadaev, Minister of Digital Development of the Russian Federation, Gleb Nikitin, Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, and representatives of major state corporations and companies. Over the 8 years of its existence CIPR has become the main point of attraction for the Russian IT-industry, formed an environment for networking and innovation development. Every year at CIPR leading companies present their developments and solutions, and key market players conclude agreements.

The satellite industry is successfully replacing foreign technologies: this applies to both software and the production of satellites. “In cooperation with several companies, RSCC is engaged in reengineering algorithms and creating software based on the Russian Astra OS. In addition, according to our order, the first fully domestic telecommunications device “Express-AMU4″ is under development. As for the manufacture of spacecraft, the electronic component base in the payload devices has already been replaced by 65%, and in the platform devices – by 91%,” said Alexey Volin, General Director of RSCC and Chairman of the ICC “Satellite Communications”. A domestic television signal encoding system has been also developed. Now, the service has passed tests at partner facilities and has been finalized for use in cable networks.

Within the framework of the event, Alexey Volin held talks with companies that showed interest in the possibilities of the RSCC constellation, and presented promising enterprise services such as precise point positioning and unmanned navigation.
