Maxis showcases commitment to connecting Malaysians to a world of possibilities at the National Day parade

Maxis captivated audiences at this year’s National Day parade with 107 employees proudly showcasing the company’s dedication to uniting Malaysians through connectivity and technology. The sea of green and blue was made even more exciting by the return of the fan-favourite Dinocorn — this time featuring four life-sized mascots and a larger version saluting the crowd as part of Maxis’ Merdeka procession.

Accompanied by vibrant balloons and floats, the contingent highlighted Maxis’ capabilities of providing fast, reliable and secure connectivity through 5G mobile and fibre broadband for learning, entertainment and productivity. Just as this year’s National Day theme Jiwa Merdeka honours the unity of different cultures and communities, Maxis is committed to connecting people and businesses of all backgrounds to a world of possibilities wherever they are.

Maxis also launched its National Day brand film ‘Budi Pekerti,’ inspired by the true story of a teenager’s simple yet impactful act of patriotism. The narrative follows Aiman, who noticed the amount of litter during the Merdeka countdown and took it upon himself to help with the clean-up. His actions sparked a positive ripple effect, inspiring others to join in, reminding us that consistent small actions can deliver meaningful change and that these gestures truly embody the heart of our nation.
