Jeroen Bronselaer named new CEO of SES

Telenet has announced Jeroen Bronselaer is to take over as chief executive officer of its channels group SES.

As part of a series of changes Dieter Nieuwdorp is to become Executive Vice President Residential & SOHO Business at Telenet, while Strategy and M&A will now become the responsibility of CFO Erik Van den Enden.

Bronselaer, who is currently Senior Vice President Residential Marketing at Telenet, succeeds Peter Quaghebeur, who will leave SBS on November 1. As part of his new role Bronselaer will also manage all Telenet media activities not exclusively directed at Telenet customers.

“I’m very pleased that Jeroen Bronselaer is willing to take on this responsibility”, explains John Porter, Telenet CEO. “Jeroen has a passion for everything related to media and will use his extensive experience in this field to lift our entertainment activities to an even higher level.”

The moves underline Telenet’s involvement in media and entertainment, alongside its role as  a provider of connectivity solutions in Belgium.
