Agreement with TELESAT for orbit transfer service

From our Benavidez Earth Station we were the first to communicate with a Japanese satellite after its separation from the launcher, providing not only telemetry and sending commands, but also verifying the correct operation in its initial phase.

In the framework of the agreement for orbit transfer services signed with Telesat, our Earth Station located in Benavidez provided critical support to the LEOP TELESAT Network for the launch and transfer orbit of a Japanese satellite launched on November 29 at 07 : 24

Thanks to its privileged location, the Benavidez Earth Station was the first Station to communicate with the satellite after its separation from the launcher, providing not only telemetry and sending commands, but also verifying the correct operation of the satellite in its initial phase. .

The service comprised 4 days of critical support and various preliminary tests that allowed us to verify the capabilities of the Ground Station.

At ARSAT we have vast experience in the provision of Satellite Ground Segment Services, in particular TT&C for all phases of Satellite operation, Payload tests in Orbit, generation and processing of Orbital Dynamics parameters and Telemetry storage, among others.

It is in this direction that ARSAT has signed several reciprocal cooperation agreements with the main Satellite Operators and providers of Ground Station Networks for Transfer Services. These agreements not only allow the integration of Argentina with the main Powers of the world satellite market, but also contribute to the creation of added value and the entry of foreign currency to our economy.

Our existing infrastructure, together with the knowledge and years of experience of its human talent, never cease to amaze the world, which sees ARSAT as a strategic partner in the Southern Hemisphere.
